Lemaan Achai operates various communal, educational and social services for the benefit of the greater Modiin community.

Food Packages

Lemaan Achai operates a special fund for impoverished families in the community. Before holidays, large food packages are distributed to families and individuals in need. Distribution takes place in Modiin and the surrounding settlements.

Educational, Cultural and Social Programs

Lemaan Achai offers a variety of workshops and lectures in varying topics of interest for men, women, children and teens.

Lectures and Workshops for Women

Lemaan Achai offers a variety of lectures and workshops for the women of Modiin on such fascinating topics as: parenting, social relationships, nutrition, basic medical concepts and first aid, relevant topics in psychology and more.

Children’s and Teens’ Clubs

Lemaan Achai operates children’s and teens’ clubs as complementary education for after-school hours. This activity is geared for every child or teen in the city, is run as a youth movement, and includes workshops, social activities, fun educational enrichment programs, holiday parties, volunteer work and more. Activities are led by devoted counselors with experience working with children. The children and teens adore their counselors and join the programs with much enthusiasm.

Teens At Risk

Lemaan Achai’s children’s and teens’ programs directly reduce the unfortunate consequences caused by troubled teens.

The clubs and workshops assist in preventing this phenomenon by keeping the children busy in a conductive and structured manner.

 Children’s Summer Camps

A summer camp run on the highest standards provides the children of Modiin with fun attractions along with educational and value-oriented entertainment, all at a substantially subsidized cost for the parents. The camp is enthusiastically received by the children of Modiin and enjoys especially high enrollment, numbering hundreds of children per year. Some parents even call immediately at the close of the summer to secure their children’s places for the next year.

Religious Services

At the residents’ request, Lemaan Achai offers a variety of religious services through its Torah centers and the resident rabbis who man them, working tirelessly on behalf of the community.

Services are varied and many, and includes the following:

• Converting a kitchen to kosher
• Dedications and Mezuzah-placement ceremonies in businesses and offices
• Bar Mitzvah preparation
